What is ClariRec?

ClariRec is a professional OCR tool for macOS. It’s designed for anyone who needs to quickly extract text from screenshots, images, or clipboard content.

Whether you’re a developer copying code from screenshots, a researcher extracting quotes from papers, or anyone who frequently needs to convert images to text — ClariRec makes it effortless.

By default, OCR stays on-device. If you choose to enable BYOK OCR or cloud translation, selected screenshots and text are sent directly to the provider you configure, not to ClariRec-operated servers.

ClariRec does not collect or receive your screenshots, OCR results, or translation text.

Just install and use. No sign-up, no subscription.

🔑 BYOK Optional

Third-party APIs are used only when you configure them, and selected content goes directly to your provider. Keys stay in macOS Keychain.
